"We had a text a couple of days before and were able to ask a couple of questions. We were welcomed by Vernon on arrival and shown around the hotel. Vernon was keen to show the girls the dancing and they had a long session the next morning. Breakfast was cereal and we had coffee and tea. The guest house is very clean and tidy and welcoming. "We stayed at this hotel on Saturday and unfortunately were quite disappointed with the experience. The hotel itself felt very dated and cleanliness standards were not what we expected. The swimming pool area was disappointing as the steam room was not working during our stay. There also didn’t seem to be enough staff on duty. We waited a very long time to be served at the bar, and when we finally received the wine we ordered, it tasted awful, almost as if it was out of date and we couldn’t drink it. Breakfast was okay-ish, but overall the stay did not feel worth the price and the hotel really needs updating and better management, was definitely overpriced as well."

"A clean and modern minimalistic (read basic) hotel. There were a few gripes:- the room offered an ironing board(!), but no glass by the sink to rinse your teeth. The shower head was hand-held - no overhead shower so impossible to enjoy or wash properly. Only 4 tea bags, so not generous! Beware of being sold a car-parking space for £15 when you arrive, as there is very few and if you leave for the evening, it's unlikely that you will get a space on your return, which leaves you to look for a public overnight car park. I complained, and to be fair, was refunded without a problem. They could offer a lot more without it costing them much."
