"Upon arrival Our room was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned . Bed sheets were full of stains also. Hallways and stairwell was also very dirty, with stairwell having vomit on the stairs and floor. We told the front desk staff. They were good about it and switched our room. The new room was better but definitely could be cleaner. Will not be choosing this hotel again."

"All staff were very friendly and pleasant, check in/check out were quick and easy. Rooms are clean, but dated. We were in 211. Renovations are happening on other floors so I guess we just got an older room. Air conditioner buttons were worn and we weren’t sure how to turn it on or if it worked. Opened the second floor window to cool off the first night but there was no screen. Figured out the AC unit by the second night and it was much more comfortable then. Gym area was closed for renos, not that we would have used it anyway. Reno noise and disruption was minimal. Continental breakfast was included, limited options but the fresh fruit was a nice touch. Dog treats and waste bags at the door were handy for walks. Area/parking lot felt a bit sketchy to walk around in, especially at night with the club around the corner. I would probably stay again after renovations are complete if the price was still within $25/night. Staff were absolutely the highlight - I felt very welcome, they seem to genuinely appreciate their guests."

"There was a hockey team staying there and they let them party way past the quiet period. We were there with our whole family, 2 babies and it ruined the entire weekend. Hotel staff need to be more on top of it for the experience of everyone. Our room was also not clean. Overall, would not recommend. The food was the saving grace, it was good."
