"Amazing, will stay again."

"Our family of three really enjoyed our stay at MONday Apartment Hotel. There was plenty of space for the three of us and all our luggage (three large suitcases and three smaller bags). Beds were luxury firm and supportive. I especially appreciated the kitchenette, which allowed me to prepare simple breakfasts for the family each morning. There were also several convenience stores and a supermarket nearby with everything we needed. The location was good overall, although it was about a 7–10...

"Best hotel I’ve stayed in my trip to Japan so far. The rooms remind me of a rykoen but more modern upscale hotel vibes. The amenities were amazing, it included unlimited water, beer, sake and wine. The room and view from our room was breathtaking. Definitely stay here if you’re in Kyoto"

"We had a wonderful stay in Kyoto! The accommodation was great, and everything was well organized. What really stood out was the host’s exceptional hospitality. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. He provided us with lots of useful information and detailed instructions, making everything easy and stress-free. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto and would happily stay here again!"

"Excellent hotel, we liked everything about it."

"Loved our time here. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was a highlight of our entire trip."

"Charming boutique hotel"

"Great experience for our family."

"It was a pleasure staying in a quieter area of Kyoto next to the river. It’s an all-rounded hotel whereby the room, service, and breakfast is spotless. One tip for those who are considering staying at this accommodation, you can easily take 206 bus to Kyoto Station."

"Quiet and spacious"

"Good size room for Japan and the staff were super friendly and helpful."

"The Thousand is a very modern hotel, located 5 minutes from the train station (big advantage). The rooms were big, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was rich and covered both Western and Eastern tastes. Overall, highly recommend this hotel"

"Big space, wash machine in the room. Nice bathroom"

"Great staff, quiet neighborhood and property"

"Impeccable service. Excellent Japanese breakfast although you have a choice of an English breakfast if you prefer that. Someone is always there to greet you and help you if you need directions or a taxi or anything else. The property is beautifully maintained. It is an older, beautiful building and very authentic. The garden outside our room was peaceful and beautiful. I enjoyed the public bath as well as our own wooden bathtub and shower. Tea was served to us every afternoon when we returned...

"Deluxe twin was like a mini apartment with everything you need including a washer and dryer on the main floor. Close and convenient to restaurants and rail station. Would have been nice to have an extra pillow on each bed for a little more comfort. A great stay overall."
