"Lovely location very near the beach and within a 20-30 minute walk into the main city centre, pier etc. The room itself was clean, a little compact with two beds but plenty of space for luggage etc. nice to have a sink in the room and the toilets/bathrooms were on multiple floors. Generally clean and tidy although several times we went to the bathrooms with blocked toilets and/or no toilet paper which wasn’t great. "Booked 2 rooms one for us and one for our son who is now 18 and does not want to share his room was huge clean tidy and my son loved his stay We had a normal size double that was lovely the only downside is I’m disabled And getting in and out as there is not much turning space The lifts are there just not the room for turning."

"Ideal location next to the railway station and an easy walk to the lanes and the beach. Staff were very helpful, although it appeared that there were often too few of them, and were a bit overwhelmed. Room was typical Ibis, reasonably basic, pod style bathroom, but clean and great value for money. Breakfast was okay, food could have been warmer, but no real complaints, it compares with other hotels in this price point. We have relatives in Brighton, and will use this hotel for future visits."
