"We had an incredible 8-night stay here for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation. My wife is pregnant, so we were looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, and this was the perfect place to unwind. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed with a handwritten note signed by members of the staff and a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon. Halfway through our stay, they surprised us with a thoughtful baby gift, which was such a kind and meaningful touch that made us feel truly cared for. The atmosphere throughout the property was calm and relaxing, and the location was ideal with the beach just a short distance away. The beach shuttle was convenient and made getting back and forth effortless. Our room was exactly as pictured—beautiful, cozy, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything was well maintained, and we always looked forward to coming back after a day out. We also loved dining at Almar. Every meal was delicious, and the cocktails and mocktails were fantastic. Most of all, the staff made this stay unforgettable. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to make our experience special. We honestly have no complaints. This was the perfect honeymoon, and we would absolutely love to return in the future. Highly recommend!"

"Wow — my family has never experienced such hospitality! This hotel deserves 10+ stars for not only location, cleanliness, comfort and amenities, but the added touches of getting our room ready for our family and celebration of our anniversary with a bottle of wine, included breakfast, complimentary stainless steel water bottles, and complimentary laundry washed, dried and folded for us was impeccable and sets a new standard for superior service. The concierge was able to answer all our questions via WhatsApp which made it easy to explore the area on the go. To boot, the hotel helped us get breakfast to go on our last day because we were flying early. We would come back to Nosara just to spend time at Olas Verdes hotel. Thanks to all who helped make our experience more than memorable for our family!"

"Centrally located but quiet. Great staff. Beautiful pool and shared kitchen and cabana area. For the price, it’s very good/what you would expect. The rooms are simple and parts of the facility are old, but that is why it is priced more affordably than other hotels. I would definitely stay there again if I stay in the same financial bracket. If I had more money, I would ideally like to have a more comfortable mattress and newer windows that close fully and no smell of mold. But all in all, me and my son were very grateful for this charming place that gave us a place to land and lay our heads and have some respite from the hot humidity outside. We loved the pool and the fact that delicious restaurants and beautiful beaches were just a few minutes walk."

"This was our second time staying at this wonderful property. The beds are so comfortable and the location is great. It is just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and Hot tub as well as the sauna and cold plunge. One of the best things about renting this house is the ability to use the Gilded Iguana Surf Club. They have so many surf board options. Sergio is an excellent host and he is very responsive to any needs you may have. Don’t hesitate to book!"

"The lap pool was a big hit! Very rare and special.The house’s layout, cleanliness and included equipment was very conducive to a fun family holiday for 2 grandparents, two adult children and son-in-law and a 20 month-old. Location was excellent—short walk to beach and shops."
