The hotel is stunning and staff was great. It’s a grand hotel that has an old world charm. We opted for the deluxe suite that provided us with a magnificent view of the town and mountains. We will definitely return to this wonderful hotel. And the breakfast buffet is outstanding.

We highly recommend a trip to Sa Pa and to the Sapa Clay House. We went in late September and the rice fields were just harvested. The weather was great but we would recommend maybe late August or early September to see the rice fields.

Get a local guide from tubudd.com. Inexpensive and amazing. Hike the mountain and spend the money to take the cable car to the top. A lifetime experience. Lots to see up there...temples, big Buddha, amazing views, bring a jacket....
