"I travel extensively, both in Canada and internationally, and this is actually the first time I’ve ever written a review. Very disappointing stay. The room did not feel properly cleaned (there were lots of loose hairs on the bed, not just a few), and the “continental breakfast” was nothing like what was described. I understand the host may be busy, but guests should expect better than finding expired milk in the fridge when “continental breakfast” is advertised. The kitchen is not a proper guest space—it’s partly used as the host’s office, with papers and personal items everywhere. It did not feel welcoming or comfortable to use, and any dishes from the host’s dinner or the dog’s food can should have been cleared from the sink for guests. All of this made me feel like I was intruding into someone else’s private space. I checked other reviews to see if I was the only one, and reading the lower-rated reviews, I found that other guests had very similar experiences. Overall, the experience was very different from what was advertised. I would not stay here again."

"Soooooo noisy!!! I could hear the T.V in the next room all night and someone throwing up in the bathroom! Walls are very thin so if you are a light sleeper don’t stay here. Otherwise it was ok"

"A charming place by the water Because of some miscommunication we only stayed one night out of our planned 4 days but not their fault and they went over and above to make sure we were refunded from Expedia. Next time book direct. We will certainly stay next trip to Rupert to visi family "
