"The rooms were set up well for access. I didn't request an ADA accessible unit but was assigned one. From a disability rights perspective this can appear to mismanage accessibility assets. However, I am aware of many properties nationwide supporting the housing crisis by offering low cost non-congregate sheltering options. To me personally, any sacrifices made by a property or Expedia to support unhoused humans and their four legged family is worthy of recognition! I also recognize that public attention to that good behavior may not be a wise marketing strategy in the U.S. today unfortunately."

Amazing Sound View - Guest House

"The property was what the host said. The view was perfect. She had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. However, there was a lot that was unsaid. The house was divided into 3 units and you could hear the other tenets. The property listing stated we would use a guest home, not an apartment. You think you will be the only ones there when booking. Would have been nice to have a welcome book with instructions besides appliance manuals. The train passes by about 100 yards from the house many times a day/night. It didn't bother us, but it may bother some if you're a light sleeper or are looking for peace and quiet. We were there for 8 days so we saw a lot.Access was off a narrow 1 lane road going into a steep driveway. Blackberry vines hung over the driveway which scratched the car, but my husband clipped them. Many stairs. The house needs some major refreshing and a thorough cleaning. It was freshly vacuumed but appliances were streaky and needed rewashing. The windows were filthy and made viewing the view not so great. I cleaned the door ones to the deck, inside and out. Dead plants in all the pots not pleasant to look at. Cobwebs and dust bunnies and lots of dust attached to the shower fan. Half the bathroom lights were burned out when we arrived. I requested new bulbs which the host got quickly. The host was responsive when messaged. We truly enjoyed the view, especially from the deck."

"Our stay was good. We loved the location it was close to family. I was disappointed in the cooking pot situation at the house. There was only a small sauce pan and a couple of frying pans. The parking would have been an issue for us if we had driven our personal vehicle (large suv). Parking is very tight and would not accommodate that large vehicle. House was clean and as advertised."
