"We had the ocean view room on the second floor. It was newly renovated, with a beautiful private bathroom and beautiful wood work throughout. We were a bit spoiled when we were there, since there were no other guests on our floor during our stay. The kitchen and living room were spacious and well equipped, and Josh was always there to help us if we needed it. We would definitely stay here in the future"

"The property was very Nice and friendly, for my Surprise the offer a local fruits tastes on Friday morning, and it was Fantastic. The room was clean and smells great, the staff is wonderful all the time. The only thing I didn’t like was, the ar conditioning works well, but the noise is so high and I have trouble to keep sleeping all night long. But they can fix it, in my opinion have to change the machine. I should back soon and I will stay there again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aaron’s Cottage. Our cottage was clean and well stocked with every amenity, coffee, coffee maker, toaster oven, dishes, and pots and pans. There is also a shared full kitchen for wider cooking options. The check in and check out process was simple and easy. We highly recommend Aaron’s Cottage and will definitely stay here again in the future."

"Communication was excellent and check-in was very easy. We had a ground floor room, which was what we needed, but I think the second floor would have a view of the bay. Our lanai had a hammock and lots of visiting birds. The room itself was thoughtfully appointed. When you enter the kitchenette was to the left with a microwave, coffee maker, electric cooktop and full-size refrigerator. All dishes and utensils that we needed were right there, along with complimentary coffee. To the right of the entry was the bathroom. The sink was in its own room with a closet (including hangers, iton, ironing board, lantern and first aid kit), behind another door was the commode and full-size shower. Past the kitchen and bathroom was a large space with a super comfy bed, night stands, and lamps on one wall, and TV, desk, and dresser along the opposite wall. There was a sliding glass door to the lanai. Also, not every place in Hawaii offers AC and this room did! It was really incredible after not having it at another location. Overall, responsive and helpful people communicated promptly with check-in and out instructions, room was everything we needed and the location was convenient and near beautiful Hilo Bay. I also highly recommend Old Saigon restaurant nearby!!"

Family luxury villa w/Pool Hilo — 5 min from the beach!

"Our two-generation family stayed here in May and especially enjoyed the pool and being within easy walking distance of the ocean. Watching the sunrise on the ocean was wonderful. The master bedroom and bath are large and very nice. I was concerned about privacy for the couple staying in the adjoining room to the master, but it was not an issue. The laundry room with two twin beds was tight and one of the boys choose to sleep in living room instead, which was fine. We couldn't regulate the temperature of the hot tub which didn't have a lid and cooled off with rain water, but it was still enjoyable. The host was responsive. I recommend this property. We stayed in several rentals while on the Big Island and enjoyed this one the most."

"The instructions on arriving were very helpful as it is a bit challenging to find. The unit was just what we were looking for, we loved the screened in porch with the view of the water. The property manager met us a few times and was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again."

"Didn’t use the cute screened-in lanai because it was so humid. But the AC was perfect! Great non-slip material on all those stairs. Perfect security car entrance, security gate. Nice motion activated lights for the property, stairs, and hallways. Room was spotless. Having a fridge, microwave, Keurig, paper plates, utensils, dishwashing soap sponge sure made eating cost friendly and convenient. Almost got to see the volcano eruption but the Park was closed. Loved not having kooky-loos to worry about and could open the drapes for natural light. "
