"It is a charming, family-run hotel with very friendly staff. The room was delightfully old-fashioned but with a modern en suite bathroom/shower. The breakfast is very English with real fried eggs, English bacon and English sausages together with all the other usual accompaniments. Unfortunately, there is no evening restaurant but there is a wide range of eateries withing walking distance. There is a small public car park immediately opposite the hotel which can be full but we had no problem...

"The stay was incredibly relaxing and the room amazing. Sadly our safe remained broken the entire time. Shelby and Brendan were superb teachers for archery and axe throwing- we had so much fun! Highly recommend a visit"
