As I don't use lifts, the receptionist arranged for my suitcase to be taken up to my room. My room, on the 2nd floor, was big and looked very clean. There was a double bed, 2 seater sofa, TV, plenty of hanging space but only 5 hangers, and tea/coffee making facilities. "Well located and the restaurant was really nice and breakfast lovely. Our king suite was located in the loft and was uncomfortably warm. We mentioed to the staff and they brought up an extra air conditioner. This didn’t help much and was far too noisy to sleep with it, so we didn’t sleep well. It definitely needs it’s own dedicated aircon system. The pool changing area was very tired and in need of some attention."

The bed was comfortable and clean, air conditioner worked great and the shower was excellent. "Lovely historic property just outside of the main area of town in a beautiful residential neighborhood. Rooms appear to have been newly renovated, beds were comfortable and the rooms had everything needed. Breakfast options were great. You do need to be prepared to carry luggage up a flight of stairs and make sure to arrange parking in advance."

"The hotel is full of quirky little seats and corridors. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at ease. The room was one of the best sizes and layouts for the cost we've stayed in the the bathrooms are excellent. The showers are double size walk in with waterfall nozzles and excellent finish. Would thoroughly recommend."

"The Hilton was disappointing. The toilet paper was incredibly thin, the plumbing gurgled, the balcony had no seating so we couldn’t sit and enjoy the view.
