"Really close walk to the beach and restaurants, as well as Manuel Antonio Park. Location was great! Hotel is a boutique, and smaller, but was really nice. Seemed like most of the hotels in the area were also boutique."

"We had an amazing stay at Makanda by the Sea. The property is absolutely beautiful, but what really made the trip special was the staff. They helped coordinate everything before we arrived, including our private airport transfers, excursions, dinner reservations, and even made sure my gluten-free meals were taken care of throughout our stay. They were always available to give us rides around the property, which made everything so easy. Our room with the private pool was incredible and quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. The privacy, ocean views, and attention to detail made it the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and memorable experience and would absolutely stay here again."

"The Falls had a beautiful, lush jungle setting. The room was clean, and the king bed was very comfortable! The restaurant served delicious food at a reasonable price. We had a complimentary breakfast, which made it a better value! Overall, the convenient location, tropical surroundings, and great staff made our trip exceptional! We highly recommend it and would definitely visit here again!"

"This was a wonderful place to stay. I traveled with my niece and her mom, and I’ll admit I was nervous about visiting a new country so far from my family. But from the moment I arrived, I felt safe and welcomed. The gentlemen who helped me during check-in and check-out were incredibly kind and helpful. I only wish I remembered their names so I could thank them personally.The property is absolutely peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature. 🌿🐒🌳My only disappointment was that I wanted to book a room with one bed for myself, but through the app I could only reserve a larger room with two beds. I wasn’t sure why that was the only option.I would absolutely stay here again. I felt so comfortable that, honestly, I wished I could have stayed even longer💚 🇨🇷"

"Excellent location. It’s situated in between Manuel Antonio national park and the town Quepos. There’s a food hall called Merkadeto. Lots of food selections and there’s a live acoustic music and dancing on Tuesday night. The villa is well maintained with a nice pool. Highly recommended."

"Fue agradable volver después de algún tiempo. Lo único que no me gustó fue que nos asignaran 2 habitaciones separadas cuando la reserva era para una sola habitación con una cama king. Al ser 2 habitaciones tuve que dormir yo solo en una habitación y mi esposa con mi hija en otra. Por lo demás, todo estuvo bien."
