"Not great unfortunately. Room definitely wasnt superior we should have been staying for 2 nights but only stayed for 1. Breakfast was tasteless and the plates were stone cold. However staff were amazing. "

"Overall, fantastic hotel bar a couple of issues. Firstly, the room we stayed in was numb er 82, one with 2 bedrooms, one huge and one small. It is the small bedroom where I had a problem with whereby, the window, its main part, has a catch/lock at mid height missing. As a result, the window is only secured at the bottom by another catch. The night we stayed happened to be a very windy, gusty night and every now and then when the wind was strong enough it caused the window to flap, producing loud noises in succession. It kept me awake until 1.30am when I had to get up and open the window partially. This reduced the pressure difference between the inside and outside and the noise stopped enabling me to eventually fall asleep. Please fix this window for your next guesses. Second issue: The dinner we had in the bar area, was very good in terms of food taste and services from staff. However, we felt while the quality is very good, the quantity didn't quite cut it and match the price we paid for, especially the main courses, which contained enough meet, but lacking the starchy sides, in our cases potatoes or chips. Some people like us would want to feel a bit fuller straight after the main course, with perhaps 30% more of starchy sides. Anyway, that's our view."

"Room was clean but bed is not comfortable and covers could of been bigger and better also pillows not comfortable. Breakfast was ok but would like to get breakfast myself and have more continental cake pan cakes etc for child. Think doors need to be changed as u come in as kept banging and dont help with son ats autism. Stuff was very helpful and prices was not to bad "

"Room was clean & very spacious but could do with update. I was disappointed as we had no shower and our view was a breeze block wall which made the room very dark. "

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was stellar and we had no problems charging our EV. Our Junior suite was perfect and the bed was quite comfortable after a long day of travel. Cheers from Canada!!"

"Rooms were decent in size. The view was amazing. Breakfast was also decent, however less options for vegetarians. Overall it was a quite relaxing stay. "

"It’s a lovely old building with lots of character. Definitely needs some TLC but we enjoyed our short stay. Didn’t see the entertainment so can’t comment on that. Staff were ok but probably a bit lacklustre, the lady who checked us in for breakfast was nice, the bar tender was pleasant. Check in staff could have been more cheerful and welcoming. However would definitely come again. Breakfast was good."

"Overall a great place for families with pleasure beach being about 15 min walk. Tram stop located within 5 minute walk also provides access to the whole of Blackpool. Staff very friendly and helpful nothing was too much of an ask. Both breakfast and the food menu our very limited and there isn’t much variety. This is same on kids menu. Hotel was very clean and modern. Room itself is standard size clean with a big bathroom. Very clean and modern again. Only downsize is there isn’t much storage room. Our toilet seat was faulty but when we mentioned it they where quick to apologise and said they’d get maintenance to sort it. Parking is limited and if you want to park in the car park it’s £12 pounds a day. There is free parking outside the hotel on the road but it’s very limited . Overall though excellent value for money and a pleasure staying. "
