Lakeside Hotel & Spa

"Nice hotel. Great seating outside on the lake and in conservatory- would be better if more seating in conservatory. Pub/bar area itself is very dark and dingy. Seats outside the bar area were nice but not enough - some of the drinks were dear -£16 for a large wine! Food in brasserie was nice and staff nice too. Parking free at the hotel and very close to the lake boats snd train. Lovely place near the lake and would stay there again if in area."

"Lovely sea view room which was clean and comfortable, reception staff quite rude and unhelpful. Breakfast lovely but a bit slow refilling empty dishes"

"The room was clean with plenty of towels the staff where helpful and informative nothing was too much trouble the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice the parking was good and the bus stop was in front of the hotel will be booking again next year"

"Good stay. Room was fine as had been upgraded. Abby stood out with regards to excellent customer service in the restaurant. At times, the dining room seemed understaffed but all staff worked hard. Would stay again."

"Stayed many times so won't repeat except to say the food is always exceptional and the staff are super friendly/helpful. The Sauna and Jacuzzi were broken on this visit, which was a shame as I was only there one night. Improvements: The Front Door to the Hotel is SO heavy, could an automatic Power Door not be fitted? The Parking - Although Third Party needs sorting. The tarmac at the entrance as you turn of the main road is and in the Car Park itself has massive craters in it that will damage your car if this continues."
