"The entire staff was amazing. They were all super warm and friendly. We had an "atrium" room which faced the interior of the hotel. That was the only issue. It felt claustrophobic not being able to open the blinds and see the outdoors. But the location was fantastic and so was the staff. Chi Chi, the bartender, was a riot. We had a wonderful time."

"Room initially given to us had some smell. Requested to switch room and the staff helped us with the request and moved to a different room. However the hotel itself did not feel like a 4 star. It was at best 3 stars. Location is good. Does not include self parking, although plenty of nearby street parking some of which are paid during daytime. "

"Didn’t perform the daily room clean-up. Just left clean towels in the room. No disposal of trash or removing of dirty towels. The bathroom was not cleaned."

"Very friendly staff and we loved Grumpy the handyman - very sweet in contrast to his name! Very pleasant room with old-fashioned amenities, fine for this duo. We enjoyed our complimentary beverage with our delicious meal in their restaurant last night, great food in a cozy environment."

"5 Star hotel with a 2 star front desk. We interacted with several staff members and couldn't tell if they were aloof, lacking language skills, lazy or just incompetent. Wait staff and valet services however were exceptional. Too bad. It's really a unique property."
