The staff was very accommodating to our needs and very helpful in directing us to exquisite dining in the area, including their excellent restaurant. The pool and spa was enjoyed as well. "The hotel was pretty and the pool was wonderful but it felt like they were trying to make money off of us at every turn. For example, the hotel sent many emails telling us about the complimentary summer pass, they gave it to us on arrival with a glass of wine, then surprised us with a huge fee as we were checking out. They charged for the fusball table in the game room, and other tiny things that most hotels would give for free. The tea box in the room even had a note saying "don't ask us for more sugar or tea. You can buy more in our shop downstairs". The front desk staff was very friendly, but the restaurant staff was pretty rude (one person acted exasperated when we wanted to add a tip because it was after they printed the reciept). I was very much looking forward to our stay and was disappointed with our experience. "
