"Plenty of parking, lovely room. Friendly staff. Only downside.... I'm gluten free and they didn't have any GF cereal but i was able to have a full english breakfast and they had GF bread and sausages. Nice touch in the room was biscuits, but again i had stated on the booking that i was Gf so it would have been a nice to have left a packet of GF biscuits. Only 12 minutes drive from main area of Matlock town. "

"Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out."

"The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. "
