"The hotel bar and restaurant are cozy and comfortable, the bedrooms are a little tired and our tv didn’t work which for a trip away actually wasn’t a bad thing. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. Great location for all local spots in Lichfield."

"This was our first premier in stay. Upon arrival there was signage out front “kids stay for free” which made us feel like we chose a family hotel since we were staying with our 2 young children. The first evening (7-8pm) when arriving home from dinner we had a knock on the door from staff. A noise complaint… we had been in the hotel for less than 5 minutes. It was quite off putting since our kids were at the normal volume of any guest. Other than that, hotel was clean, well kept and a great...

"Absolute gem of a place. Sarah is very hospitable and has all the amenities you need for a stay. The room was lovely and clean and breakfast was superb. We loved our stay and would love to come back one day thank you."

"Great location with plenty of parking and EV chargers which was very handy for us. Check in was handled efficiently with polite staff. Room was fine, some questionable carpet stains but generally clean and comfortable. A good hotel for a stopover in the area."

"Helpful staff in a picturesque setting. The food was excellent and our room was spacious and comfortable."

"When I booked I didn’t realise it was a self entry hotel but the instructions provided by the manager were clear & easy to follow & I encountered no problems. My room was clean & comfortable with good amenities including a small fridge & microwave & the shower was a decent one. Overall I’d happily stay here again."

"Really lovely welcome and high standard of accommodation. Gorgeous setting and beautiful warm building."

"Overall a nice stay but the rooms needed a good clean and some simple renovation. The bed frame/fabric base was all stained, the floor was stained and the window latches all broken so the window was either wide open or shut. A couple of £1 hinges would fix it. Spiders in the shower in both rooms. The staff were great, parking easy, bar was nice. Just needs some simple tlc"

"Excellent breakfast!"

"The staff was very helpful and nice will come again"

"the bathroom smelled like the pipes to the sewer were not right. the smell was there when i checked in and never went away. they don’t clean corners so there nice rooms are going to age quickly."

"Was a great place to stay"

"Above a pub, but the music and noise stopped bang on 11pm, which I thought was reasonable."

"Very nice apartment, very big with ample facilities. Just a little more cleaning to sofa covers and mattress cover in sofa would have made it better as ours were dirty. Restaurant was amazing and great for gluten free and bar was lovely too. Overall very comfortable stay"
