"It was a one night stay between our flights. Our room was fine, however, a couple of things stand out that could be improved. The first being the shuttle service, it was confusing as to which IBIS hotel we were disembarking at. No announcement was made. There was a lot of confusion surrounding that. Also as a safety concern there was a child, about 7 years old that was climbing the baggage rack, and swinging from the hand straps AS we were driving. The parents seemed unconcerned, and the driver said nothing. I would think this would be an insurance liability should anything have happened and the child was hurt. I put the full responsibility onto the inattentive parents. Second, we decided to have a drink at the bar. We sat down, got the drink list and then were forgotten for a long while. When we ordered our drinks, it seemed like the it was a novice as a binder for mixing drinks was required. We received our drink in a chipped glass as well. Not impressive for the price we paid. Next morning, the breakfast buffet was understaffed and there was a bit of chaos. The young man that was in charge was trying to be helpful, but he could only do one thing at a time. There was food, cutlery and dishes to be replenished. Tables to be cleaned as well as the guests who were confused about having to pay for the breakfast as they thought it was included on their stay. Again an extreme lack of communication."

"The Usual was perfectly located for walking around to all the sights. The lobby/lounge was a great space for enjoying a book, playing a game, or enjoying a drink."

"The location is fairly far from the city but has easy access to transit to get you anywhere. The hotel also has a shuttle service free for Hyatt members. It takes you to the airport. There is a fee without the membership. There are no microwaves in the rooms but there is one in the lobby. It wasn’t working the last few days we stayed but things like that happen. No biggie. They also have a water tap in the lobby which can save you a fortune on water. Some of the staff could do better at customer service thou. Depends on who you speak to, the experience can be vastly different. They also do free drink coupons if you forego your daily room turnover service. Which is cool, worth it if you want to grab a drink after a long day of sightseeing and bar hopping ;) The area is quiet and also quite safe, we walked back from the bus stop at wee hours with no issues. There are no restaurants that we liked in the area, but if you are starving and don’t have the patience for Uber eats, there is a maccas a 10 min walk away."

"It is convenience to every where if you take the hotel free shuttle bus to the airport and then from the airport you can take the train. I will go back to stay this hotel again next time."

"Good experience - good customer service from check in through to checkout. Room well positioned, quiet, comfortable bed. Enjoyed a drink in the sky bar. Breakfast extensive and good quality. Few minutes walk to tram stop taking you into centre."
