"I cannot say enough about the food, service and hospitality shown by all staff after staying here for 3 nights. The food both at breakfast and dinner was perfect; the location to other towns in the vicinity is second to non. Highly recommended"

"This is an old building and holds lots of conferences, weddings and travellers from Manchester airport- the car park is large and very full.
We stayed in a huge ground floor room. A bit tired, but bed very comfortable and room was warm with good curtains to black out.
I would say it's a character property with history, but a bit tired. It says it is Knutsford, but actually in Mere in the countryside, but handy for exploring the area."

"Very quiet location, rooms were a good standard, but the building and service needs to be freshened up a bit, e.g wifi info in the room is incorrect, although connecting to wifi wasn't a problem Limited choices on breakfast but all the usual basics were available and it was good value. Would happily stay again."

My family of four stayed in this lovely inn at the end of December 2015. We were looking for a place to stay between attending a Manchester United Football game and visiting the English countryside. Comfy bed and spacious room and large bathroom.
The rooms were spacious, charmingly decorated, and clean. The staff could not do enough for us, even postponing a scheduled fire drill because we told the breakfast staff I was planning on taking a jet lag nap before going out to explore the countryside. Meals were absolutely delicious with a great take on traditional favourites. A must stay!

Clean and well appointed rooms. The staff was incredible, friendly, and wonderfully accommodating. The breakfast was top notch. We've stayed here twice and will certainly stay again when we are in the area.

This was our first night in our UK trip and was arguably the best place we could stay to introduce us to this country. Our room was small but the stone walls and lovely decor made it feel simultaneously rustic and contemporary. The bathroom was well designed and had a wonderful shower that was just what we needed after 15 hours of travel. The bed was a dream, I haven’t slept that well in a long time. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I appreciated the don’t trust your sat nav signs...

Had a little problem with the toilet but the staff said they would be quick to fix it. Other than that our stay was great. The food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Great property, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean room. Kitchenette was great and the bathroom was lovely. I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choices, and allergens were labeled for all items; separate space for gluten-free items.
Laundry room was good, small washers & dryers that were serviceable and free for guests (byo detergent), and much appreciated.
Staff were all polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely pleasant.
