"Great staff that was very helpful. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast had a nice variety"

"The history of the hotel is amazing, the cleanliness, not so much. Hairs on our sheets, sticky bathroom floor, rude staff members, inadequately supplied toiletries. Would never recommend anyone pay $400 for this. Better places with better customer service in the area."

"Staff went above and beyond at check in. Convenient location for visiting our son at URI."

"Comfortable, clean room in a great location."

"What a wonderful stay, everything up to par, glad we found it."

"When I went into the room, it smelled musty. I immediately was given another room. It was better. I don't know what they use to launder the bed linens but, they didn't smell good. "We stayed at this hotel so we could be near my son as it was parents weekend at URI. Lovely grounds and definitely a winery feel to it. Check in and out was simple. No coffee machine in the room. In our room the bathroom sink had no area to place...

"The toilet was too low, not ADA compliant."

"The location of this little motel is perfect if you're taking the ferry to Block Island the next day. It's just two miles from the ferry port. We would have enjoyed staying here even if we were not going to Block Island, though—it's sparkling clean with a ton of little touches that turn a nice motel into a great one. There are towel bars and hooks in all the right places, and even an electrical outlet at the top of the refrigerator for plugging in an electric cooler or whatever else you need to...

"Beautiful location! Friendly staff and peaceful and calm ambient."

"I had a very early departure but they were very kind and made me coffee."
