"Great room with fantastic view of the bay. Very close to cafes, bars and restaurants. Easy walking distance to everything in town"

"The room was very clean as well as common areas. The 2 ladies we interacted with at the front desk (Ava & Debbie) were awesome. I give both of them 5 stars."

"Clean and very tidy."

"This was a clean, well maintained room in a conveniently located motel. Easy to find, parking available and all the attractions within walking distance. Owner was really helpful with booking local attractions and recommendations of good places to eat."

"Major complaint are both the noise from the roof and the cleanliness of the cups and toaster. The cups and toaster were kept under the sink by the drainage pipe and visible molds all around. Was disgusted by it and wouldn’t want to open the cabinets let alone using the cups kept under the sink. The roof was cracking all night from both the wood and the aluminum. Couldn’t sleep for the 2 nights. Would not recommend this place!"

"The room was clean, we were upgraded to a superior room, as we were staying 5 nights and they are the rooms that have a microwave. There was no tea towel, no forks, no washing up detergent or anything like that, very basic. The pool wasn't in operation, it was empty, for all the tine we were there, no mention of that when we checked it. It's just a basic motel, not a resort. Plus the large rubbish skip bin is in the driveway on the way to the units, it smelt putrid as you walked passed...

"Great experience and wonderful beach view"

"Everything was good. We did find our bathroom a little bit awkward. We couldn't shut the shower door with the bathroom door shut. Breakfast was good. The coffee could have been a little better. The view was spectacular."

"Sentral beliggenhet med gangavstand til det meste, gode turmuligheter. Parkering like utenfor. Personlig velkomst av trivelig eier 🤗 Kaffepodsmaskin og melkeskummer = plusspoeng, men dessverre noen minuspoeng for slurvete vask og vedlikehold."

"Just a very pleasant stay."

"Great value for money on a truly good sized property that offered far more than we expected."

"An amazing stay the staff where so friendly and helpful"

"A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays. Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."

"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. Kitchen was very modern and well appointed with all the things to make for a relaxing stay. Lounge, bedrooms and...
