Steak and shiraz with a peppercorn sauce. Breakfast was set out on a full table to help yourself with juices, cereal, pastry, croissants, toast and there were jams a plenty to chose, along with marmite. "Hotel is clean and functional with all the basics needed for a stay on isle of wight. Parking is an advantage and locality just 5 minutes to shops & Beach. Our family of 4 loved the breakfast and hospitality, host was knowledgeable & willing to answer questions. Room needs some Tlc & updating, but I still prefer these hotels to big chains. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as long your expectations are not of 5 star experience. its basic and offers an affordable option for the Area."
