"When I first got into the room and opened the shower door, there was a horrible smell - think it was the drains. Luckily it dissipated before I went to bed and never came back - stayed for 2 nights.
Location fabulous overlooking the beach and went to sleep with the sound of the waves ( very hot - window wide open ). Breakfast very good with a very lovely view. Staff friendly and helpful without being 'in your face'.

"Hotel is clean and functional with all the basics needed for a stay on isle of wight. Parking is an advantage and locality just 5 minutes to shops & Beach. Our family of 4 loved the breakfast and hospitality, host was knowledgeable & willing to answer questions. Room needs some Tlc & updating, but I still prefer these hotels to big chains. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as long your expectations are not of 5 star experience. its basic and offers an affordable option for the Area."
