"After a long international flight, The Standard was exactly what we needed. The staff was welcoming and efficient during check-in, helping us get settled quickly. The room was spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and room service was both quick and delicious. We were able to get a full night's rest and wake up refreshed for the next day. The location was ideal after arriving in London. If our travels bring us back to this part of London, we would happily stay here again."

"the hotel staff here was incredible. we get there to check our bags in and it was the kindest group of people. and my travel partner had a small medical issue and the staff went above and beyond to provide some medical supplies. the kindest and most wonderful people work at this hotel. the room was great. i cannot wait to stay here again. everyone from the bartenders to the room service staff? all incredible. i had a wonder stay here. "I was a little disappointed in our stay. The hotel and room was very tired and in need of an update. In the morning the windows were running with condensation. The windows let an awful lot of noice through and I was awake for the 3 nights listening to the roar of traffic. The restaurants attached to the hotel were very expensive and not of the best quality. I’d recommend finding somewhere else to eat. On the day of leaving we were in a rush and needed a taxi. They said to just wait out in the forecourt ans taxis arrived every few minutes and they wouldn’t specifically call a cab. After a 15 min wait we left, turned onto the road and flagged one down immediately. Very underwhelming experience. It was ok at best."
