"DO NOT STAY HERE! ANYWHERE BUT HERE I came into town for three weeks to deal with my uncle’s estate. I booked this because it was relatively inexpensive and looked cute in the pictures. I love retro lodging. The room was very small but OK for just me. The bathroom was so small I had to sit sideways on the toilet. No plug in the bathroom either! "Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Parking was also very good as we use the tram so we parked our vehicle in front of our room and never had to move it as we used the tram to get around town getting picked up in front of our hotel and drop back off in the evening."

"Enjoyed our four night stay. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great. The availability of soft drinks and bottled water any time was a very helpful and nice touch. We did not avail ourselves to the freshly baked cookies in the afternoons but they looked delicious. There were other nice touches provided by the inn that we thoughtful. We stayed in the Amethyst room which was beautifully decorated and furnished. Bathroom was very roomy, well decorated and appointed with high quality materials. Bed was very comfortable with quality linens. We checked in after 4:30 pm so we were helped with checking in and keys over the phone as the staff leaves around 4 pm. This worked out great with the exception that we did not avail ourselves to check in orientation. Our room received a light refresh upon request half way through our stay. We wished we had understood room servicing and cleaning so we could have had our expectations in line with the service. We blame ourselves for not meeting with a staff member the next morning after check in for a full orientation. We appreciated the property’s convenient location with relation to all of the activities and restaurants. Free parking was a plus and we had no problem finding a spot to park and found the spaces roomy and easy to access. We would recommend the property to others looking to conveniently and comfortably experience St Augustine."

"We go to St Augustine often as we live only 2 hours away and it is our getaway place. I had booked our weekend back in May of this year at another Inn that we always stay at. Upon arrival at that Inn, we found out they were closed and actually going thru renovation! Somehow our reservation slipped thru via online booking and so we had to find another place to stay last minute. We check alphabetical along the bayfront area and The Bayfront Inn came up first. We went online, happily got a reservation and to our pleasure, our stay at the Bayfront ended up costing us $350 less than the 1st reservation was, Woohoo!!. The Bayfront's architect is gorgeous, large rooms, all the amenities, quiet, clean and well maintained, has a nice Bayfront view and is close enough for walking to the historic section, shops, restaurants and all the local sites. Nice hot breakfast served daily plus lite hors d'oeuvres daily around 5pm. We absolutely fell in love with the place and will now make The Bayfront Inn our go to place!"

"You won't find a nicer and more relaxing place to stay. We stayed in the 'light green' portion, with river-facing room on the second floor, with a beautiful view of the Bridge of Lions, and all the boat going by, (and the often present 'pirate ship') . Staff was wonderful. The Vale parking folks were super fast and the bartenders were great. Walking distance to tons of restaurants and shopping. Don't look elsewhere. One of the best and most unique (in a very good way) hotels I've ever stayed at."
