"The pros: a flat, clean and very nice stretch of beach; the ocean is calm and very accessible and swimmable; the grounds are lovely and well kept; rooms are clean but outdated. The cons: organized activities are obnoxious (regular whistle blowing for volleyball and pool activities) and announcements over microphone. Walls of rooms are thin. The food is what you would expect for an all-inclusive, maybe less. It’s too bad. This place could be better with small changes and updates."

"Nice sized resort! Comfortable bed and kind and considerate staff. Very accommodating to those with food allergies and personal attention always!! Very impressed, we cannot want to come back! "

"The location itself was stunning. The grounds are maintained well and the beach was very clean. The food served at both the buffets were surprisingly good (except for the deserts). The cocktails were not made well. Our air conditioner in our room only worked on low and wouldn’t get the room colder than 25 Celsius which is better than nothing considering the heat. The nightclub room wasn’t open every night and the air conditioning in there was working well either. The bar in the nightclub was not operating at the time of our visit. The spa wasn’t fully staffed so we were never able to make an appointment. "

"Had a wonderful time! The only thing we had trouble with was the hot tub only worked for 2 of the days we were there. It got kind of cooler and cloudy the last two when we really needed it but other than that fantastic property and would definitely stay there again. I do recommend a car though as it is far from restaurants except for the fabulous taco place right outside the gates!!"

"Everything was great. Loved the 1st floor walkout. Great views of the sunsets, the beach and the pools. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Very peaceful & serene. The casa is immaculate and comfortable. Friendly staff! Facilities are fresh and well maintained. It was an awesome trip!"

"The unit was very lovely with plenty of space and a large balcony for dining and relaxing. It looked even nicer than in the photos and was incredibly well-stocked. The property was beautifully maintained. We loved having a beach right on the property. We rented a car, which made the location work for us as it is definitely a drive to get to restaurants and shopping. "

"We loved our stay at the Diablos Rojos house! The house was amazing, it had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. The location is perfect! The host was super responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back! "
