"Where do I begin first of all we booked this trip to sit in the hot tub which was not open. Pull water looked muggy and not very clean the area around. It was messy and not cleaned up. No clean towels at the pool area. The room was absolutely disgusting Hair in the shower hair all over in the bathroom and on the floor, had to request a plunger the toilet was stopped up. "This was the worst hotel experience. First room received was not acceptable. The carpeting was a hazard, it had ripples/buckling every 4-5 inches and the room smelled like smoke. Second room received was not quite as bad in regard to the carpeting (however the carpeting was still quite worn, but not a tripping hazard), but the furniture was stained, not clean, and had a foul smell. "This hotel is located close to the airport, which was reason we chose it. The man checking us in was on the phone during the entire process. It was clean enough and quiet, but I was uneasy when I saw the dead bolt had been busted off our room door and it had not been repaired. The hallway lights were bright and on all night-probably for a good reason. The hallway was only accessible with a room card which made me feel a little better."

"I booked this hotel through Expedia in April and I put my trust in them with my reservation. So the day I was set to arrive the hotel was NOT the hotel I reserved. Apparently the Days Inn in El Paso IL is permanently closed and has been for 4/5 years!!! So why put it on the site if it’s not there. I’m still waiting to hear back from Expedia for my refund and even they were hard to find. I hope this doesn’t happen to any one else."
