"The room was clean and staff very pleasant. Breakfast was good. The outside of the hotel however needs a clean up as its appearance lets its staff down"

"Lovely hotel can’t complain about anything really apart from maybe put hairdryers in room but room was nice and clean. Nice food, not very busy so can’t comment on how it fairs when busy but staff bent over backwards and very friendly so I would say they would most likely be the same if busy. Would stay again if in the area."

"Really nice and the location is great. Check in was unmanned when I arrived but not a problem as they sent me the details ahead of time. Room was a little tired, could do with a lick of paint. Shame the vending machine was out of order. All that said the WiFi was great, bed really comfortable and the room overall was great. Will defiantly look to stay here again in the future."

"Room was clean and pleasant. Staff were all helpful and friendly particularly Elizabeth on the desk. We upgraded our room to onevinnthe coach house which was quirky and nicely decorated and i really aporeciated the elemis toiletries. Reasonable selection of cold breakfast food and a decent english breakfast. Only drawback is the spa area which is very shabby with many cracked tiles in the steam room and by the pool. There was no hot water in the spa area and changing rooms as the boiler was broken. I chose the hotel partly because i trust macdonald hotels but in this case for the spa! So that was a pity really. I got the impression that they were understaffed that day- it was a Bank Holiday. "
