"Great small resort. Snorkelling right off the beach. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great too. Continental is included and if you select something else only the difference is charged. You can have breakfast at a couple of different locations including lovely secluded tables overlooking the water or at roof top restaurant in building 4,these are nicer options than the poolside restaurant. "We had a Deluxe suite garden room and it was lovely and very clean. We overlooked the garden and pool but we could also see part of the beach & ocean. Whoever cleaned our room daily done an excellent job!!"

"Waking up at the Blue Haven Resort in Turks & Caicos was truly waking up in paradise. We had a studio with a king size bed that had an ocean view but no balcony which we were initially interested in but this did not impact our experience overall . "Just returned from our week long stay at Beaches TCI. We loved our time there, however just a couple of bumps to recognize. It room was beautiful but shower curtain smelt of mildew. Once we brought it to housekeeping attention it was replaced immediately. Resort it very large so took a bit to get acclimated. Was an effort for someone to actually give us a printed layout of the resort but someone did find one. We figured there would be more information on the resort and itineraries, shows....

"The resort is an older resort with classic island charm. The property and amenities make up for the dated furniture in the units. The resort is perfect for a relaxed stay and easily accessible to all other resorts and restaurants via the shuttle or taxi. I will be coming back for a longer stay. The beach is priceless!"

"Turks and Caicos is an expensive island so there was good value in staying at The Sands. They are within walking distance to a small downtown area and to their sister hotel, The Palms. Food at Hemingway’s was good and the restaurant is conveniently located close to the pool and beach, however they have a tiny bar area and infrequent service to the beach area. There would be better use of space if they had a bar area on the deck closer to the beach. We had some issues with our lights not shutting...

"Don't book. The worst of the worst. False advertising! No white sand, no sound proof room, no restaurant on site, and no help when there is problems. Yes it's cheaper, because it's dirty and advertise untrue. A towel rack on the ground in the room, the mini fridge leaked, the ceiling fan wouldn't turn off, a stove and filth in the hallway etc. I have pics. They say sound proof room, I have multiple recordings of how loud the music is next door in the room. I tried to resolve the problem and...

"Amazing breakfast. Beautiful Beach. Only issues was there was not enough shade (umbrellas did not block UV rays). Nice to have gym. Amazing dinners but very expensive on the island (everything has to be shipped in). Grocery shopping in town is far away and expensive to get to and fro. Staff were all very friendly. Cool to see wild donkeys, horses, dogs. "

"We were choosing between this property and Ocean Club West and chose wrong sadly. From the start it was sub par, the transport from the airport failed to show after a 30 min wait and we had to join the taxi line. We had a room the 1st night where there were people partying 2 doors down despite being asked to stop. I was woken at 2:38am by the smoke alarm because they were illegally smoking.
