"great room, helpful staff, great location"

"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. "everything good"

"IN all it was a great place to stay and we will continue to stay there in future. The grounds are in a bad way as all the trees have been cut down and there is no woodlands on the their outlook views. They have also removed all the undergrowth on their property leaving the driveway bare. Until this is redone the outlook on approach is not nice."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Very appreciative to be able to have our dog stay with us. Lovely staff and a super spot to stay if visiting the Bay of Islands."

"If there is any kind of cover for the glass on the front door, would be great to block the light during the night."

"Great value for money on a truly good sized property that offered far more than we expected."

"Awesome stay would stay again"

"A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays. Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."

"Lovely and clean. Staff were great. The fluffy cat was very cute."

"Great experience and wonderful beach view"

"Great location, friendly staff, breakfast was ordered off the menu. There were a variety of unique options and very good food."

"The room was spot less and was absolutely amazing"
