"Good sized room and helpful staff but had expected more from upgrading my room- no coffee machine, fridge or water. Hospitality tray consisted of one biscuit, 4 sachets of coffee and 6 teabags but no sugar or milk. Breakfast was ok but very little choice for me personally as a vegan. Air conditioning in the room was a big plus."

"I stayed at the Warwick, Southport from Friday 26th September - Monday 29th September during the British Musical Firework Championship 2025. Finding good-quality accommodation for a reasonable price during the weekend is almost impossible as establishments raise their prices as large numbers of people flock to the town for the weekend and many places selling out soon after the dates are announced. This is not my first stay, having come across The Warwick, Southport almost a year ago. "

"We needed a cheap room near The Open and The Marlborough Hotel achieved this. Booked 2x single rooms with en-suite. My room was absolutely fine - except the bathroom wasn't clean, the toilet seat wasn't attached and the water pressure was weak. Otherwise, the staff were friendly, there is a free car park & I broadly felt safe."
