Lovely hotel in brilliant location. Breakfast was great. Room was clean and tidy and staff were very helpful. Lovely bar. Car parking across the road can be paid for at hotel reception. I would stay here again.

The hotel was very nice and looked well kept. Room was nice, bed was very comfortable (and large). The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive, We stayed for a concert in Bootle and the hotel was conveniently located near the railway station so we had no difficulty getting there.

We loved the room, the decor and the bar area. The staff were great, helpful and friendly. We would deffinately choose the Bold again for sure when we come back to UK. Food was good but we missed the Snuday roast

The hotel had a certain ambience to it - with the staff making it a great experience! Thank you to Claudia, Amy, Carol, Carter and others for their kind and warm help. They all took great care to make our stay wonderful. The food at the restaurant is very good. We ate breakfast there daily and had dinner there twice. The bedroom is decorated nicely - with the exception of the ill-fitting lamp shades. A minor thing but easily fixable. I would suggest adding some decorative pulls for hanging coats or towels on and maybe making the shelf in the bathroom level so items do not slide off. The hotel has many repeat customers and offer a myriad of entertainment options during the year as well as Happy Hour music on Thursday and Friday! Convenient for golfers. Tip: Eat at Volare’ one evening. Really good pasta!

The staff was very helpful but thought the price was very high as I only paid £ 57 for a night in a 4 star hotel with sea view on the Thursday week before as it was a last minute booking like this was I didn’t realise it was above a pub and with an awful view out the window and the pillow gave me neck ache but staff changed it no bother very helpful I lee
