"The property is lovely. Despite being told it was heated, the pool was not heated. (I did not find this out - until after checking the temperature with my hand, and asking the concierge/ front desk to turn up the temperature. Only then did they find out by calling maintenance that the pool heater was not working). There was no mention of when it would be fixed -if ever. "

There was also construction or remodeling going on in the building. I would have liked to know this in advance as well. "This was the most disgusting hotel room I've ever encountered, the floor was sticky, the bedding smell. I couldn't even sleep in it, she seemed to be malfunctioning. It was either too hot or too cold, it was shampoo soap, and "boywash" in the shower that was hopefully mislabeled. It was incredibly noisy, and there were bugs crawling around in the room. I could go on my own, but I think you get the picture."

"We recently spent a night while traveling from West Palm Beach to Aiken, SC. Great location just off I-95. And such a "sense of place". Authentic low country, huge live oak trees with Spanish moss, lovely water views as we walked around and charming cottages. Very comfortable bed and a great coffee station. Perfect for a couple and a dog for a night or a weekend getaway."

"This is just the perfect place! The host is so welcoming and the place is the decorated so wonderful. Plenty of room and felt so cozy. One of the best parts was the use of the golf cart as I got to really immerse myself in the community.
