"Supremely clean, extremely well- appointed rooms/tents, the food was superb and the staff beyond friendy and professional! Specifically wanted to mention nBaraka who helped us with rental car issues and advocated for us constantly. Also he was instrumental in helping us get our permits for Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge. "We had a wonderful stay at Elephant Lodge. The staff were friendly and very attentive, the pool was clean, the food was excellen and the rooms were superb. The most amazing thing was the wildlife we could see and hear from the pool, restaurant and our own rooftop terrace. We skipped a trip to the park because the surroundings were so spectacular. Would like to come back very soon!"

"They did not have our booking(pre paid) which is understandable somewhat because they are out in the middle of no where, but there was no attempt on the staffs part to help fix the problem. we ended up leaving 1.5 hours later than we wanted and paid with a Card(got a refund from Hotels.com). the hotel needs to have better service. The refund from hotels.com was easy and service on there side great."

"Very comfortable stay. We spent 6 nights at the Lodge over Christmas and had a great time, exploring Manyara National Park and the local area. Lovely to have wildlife in the camp, wondering around. Lovely swimming pool, great food and very, very helpful staff; we were looked after very well."
