"Room was nice size . Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Big problem was it was like sleeping in a sauna. No ventilation. Windows restricted to openings of about two inches, No AC and the fan provided was completely ineffective. I would not stay here again unless it is the middle of winter."

Bar not respecting clients privacy by shouting room numbers across the bar and names. Unacceptable. "As other reviews have said the property is old and creaky and furnishings and carpets could do with being updated. The hotel is right next to the castle, pubs, restaurants and-supermarkets and is a great location. It’s a shame really as it could be really nice if a bit of TLC was added to the rooms and especially the entrance which really needs attention. Another Plus is the staff are really nice."

"It situated right in the town centre. A bit chaotic. The bathroom and toilet had no lock and male and female was sharing, that was stressful having to keep an eye on the door."

"Completely adequate room for our needs as we were visiting Leeds Castle for a concert. Room was clean although very hot as we are mid heat wave at time of writing…no air con but fans provided to take the edge off. Staff were pretty friendly, decent buffet breakfast with good ‘full English’ offering. Well stocked, reasonably priced bar."

"Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back."

Parking is available in nearby municipal pay and display car parks - but do check with the hotel beforehand for details of which to park in as the closest is a short stay with a maximum stay of only 4 hours. There is a separate long stay car park within walking distance. Bedrooms have been stylishly brought up to twenty first century standards. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended."
