"Amazing stay with my husband & two Sons. We are from England, so loved the cultural differences in this hotel. Staff were polite & helpful. Location was round the corner from Kyoto Station. Accessible to subway & meeting points for day trips. Traditional breakfast, which was excellent. They even accommodated me, as vegetarian. "Beautiful hotel! We really enjoyed our stay!"

"The lobby is nice, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. However, the hotel room was quite dated, with old furniture and poor lighting. One of the sofa bed mattresses also appeared to have mold, which was particularly concerning. Overall, the room seems to be in need of a major upgrade and renovation. Unfortunately, the experience was a disappointment compared with Miyacho Fukuoka. I would not recommend staying here unless the rooms are remodeled and significantly improved."

"Property was clean in a good location and staff was friendly."

"fantastic hotel in the heart of Kyoto"

"A great hotel in every imaginable aspect. Location is great. Rooms are spacious and well kept and cleaned. Amenities include private and a public onsen, a fitness facility, and a laundry facilitiy that uses Suica card. Staff is friendly and supportive. Dinner was extraordinary."

"Staff throughout stay was absolutely amazing."

"It was rated 4 star but certainly wasn't. 3 star at best. The staff was fine, limited English, and not at all helpful when I needed a cab to go to the train station."

"深酒してチェックインが深夜になった折に、スマホをロビーに置き忘れたのですが、深夜ということもあって部屋のドア下に「お客様がチェックインの時に携帯をロビーで置き忘れておられました。フロントで預かっております！」のメモが挟んでありました！ 翌朝気が付いて、早朝でしたがフロントが対応してくれて、受け取りました。 深夜にご配慮頂き、心から感謝申し上げます🙏"

"The property is in a great location, close to train station, great shopping, food etc. Room was very comfortable. It is a bummer that people with tattoos are not permitted to use the spa, I would have liked to experience this."

"The room was gorgeous and you did not feel like you were in the station but you were."

"Great location, beautiful hotel, spacious room."
