"We had such a fantastic stay. The hotel is right opposite two bus stops which take you right to Newport, Ryde and Sandown and there is a Co-Op just down the road. The staff were so welcoming and exceptionally friendly. The room was restocked daily and cleaned beautifully. The food on the restaurant was outstanding. It can be a bit noisy until 11 due to it being a pub but it was not ongoing and we were not disturbed by it. We could not have asked for another place to stay."

"Great place, a very old property that needs serious money spent on it. The gardens are beautifully maintained. We had two breakfasts and an evening meal, the restaurant was like a geriatric ward, I'm 67 and I reckon I was the youngest there, luckily the staff are (I'm sure) trained in caring for the elderly It's not as grand as you might think"

"I realise that ‘bog standard’ will never be a descriptor for a caravan, but superior is way too kind. Thankfully only 2 of us were staying in a 6 berth, because bedroom 3 is ludicrous. The caravan’s are piled in very close to each other, meaning not only can you not park next to it, you can’t park anywhere near it and ours had a complete staircase to navigate due to the terracing. "A very well run hotel with most aspect being excellent. Clean, comfortable room, decent crockery and consistent food quality. Very few negatives but the stairs carpet could have seen service in Pompeii, it was that old and seemingly dirty.
