"Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and lovely to speak to throughout our short stay. The hotel is immaculately kept and tastefully furnished. Our room was spacious (family room with a queen bed and bunk beds for our 2 children was a dream for them) and had great amenities. "We made an independent booking with an agent. We were not aware that this hotel caters predominantly for coach parties. There were around 200+ coach party guests and only a handful of individual bookings. Our bedroom, on the third floor, was spacious but had no chest of drawers to unpack clothes into. "The hotel is in a great location, it’s clean enough although things like the stair carpet could be replaced as it’s threadbare, but overall clean. The room was one of the cheaper ones, but it’s definitely tiny and the bathroom is awful, no need for a sink that big in such a tiny bathroom. Other than that it’s average.
