"Loved the Black Walnut Inn. I would love to go back. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast is delicious. A very generous spread. Self-serve tea and coffee is available at all times in the dining room area. There are also treats one can help oneself too. Chocolate chip cookies our first day and molasses cookies the second. Meghan bakes the best cookies. Seriously, the best. The owners are very warm. If we visit Amherst again, staying here would be our first choice. Thank you."

"Yard and porch were a little unkempt, that may be because it’s not very warm weather yet. The house inside was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had any appliances and dishes you might need if you were cooking. The bed was very comfortable and the room had blackout shades.
