"Property was very comfortable. Spacious room and good value for the price. The biggest let down was the staff. It was difficult to find the valet every time I needed the car and, on the first day that I was seated for the complimentary breakfast, no server ever came to my table. Beyond that, the property is as advertised, has several amenities with good offerings for food on site. There were many activities for people of all ages to where this property would be very family friendly."

"After 11 nights of "roughing it" in 5 other hotels around Scotland, we fell in love with the Doubletree. All of the basic/important things were top notch, and there were many nice touches, including indirect lighting and an abundance of electrical outlets. The staff was terrific, with three different onsite restaurant employees helping us with a chaotic and very late room service order"

"We thought we were going to be staying in the castle but ended up in the garden room. the room was nice but had a very small uncomfortable bed. this should have been explained upon booking and we could have upgraded. The staff and breakfast was excellent!"

"Stay here regularly. We booked a more expensive king bed room, was told on arrival we had the best room however when we got there the room was far from an upgraded room and looked more tired than their standard room and wasn’t a king bed in it, the staff very kindly moved us to another room which was far better however it was so hot and even with the fan supplied on all night and window opened, it was uncomfortably hot. Great hotel, but I would choose the basic room in future as the upgraded...

"Nice feel to this hotel. The staff were very good and helpful. The food was excellent. The lodge we stayed in was a little tired but clean and pleasant enough. Overall we had a nice stay."

"Parking was good, check in was fine, room was clean, good size room we were in a accessible room, plenty of lights in room but did not have one on ceiling which would have helped when doing hair and makeup, good size tv, room warm good heater. Bathroom great size has shower and two sinks. Breakfast good and we had a evening meal at Hotel it was good had steak and ale pie. Have stayed at Hotel.before and will stay again. "Excellent simple accommodation with shared bathroom. Extremely clean, warm and relatively quiet (for an old building). No notification of door key code as promised but staff resident so no issues with 21:00 check-in. Would definitely stay again."

"Very peaceful location with very helpful staff. We’re very responsive to accommodation requests. The breakfast was great, multiple options from light to heavy. Just a short walk away from Aberdour Castle and a small beach."

"Nice clean rooms. Breakfast was great. Nice grounds. Staff were lovely. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool. Not many negatives, but our room kept stopped working 3 times, in a 1 night stay. I had to nip out to the car, and ended up not being able to get back in to the building. Also, when others are entering the building (was a separate building with just bedrooms) the doors rattle really badly. My daughter kept thinking someone was trying to get in the room. "

"Nice relaxing stay, if booking through 3rd party be careful of room designation offered we nearly fell foul of that as originally not as shown on booking and upon confirming with hotel found an error as hotel had put us in room 1/2 size at highest point in hotel best to book direct imo. For disabled requirements a bit misleading as there are none. Staff helpful and some EV charging available not shown on website."
