"Staff were all lovely! Locals also very nice, real friendly village feel in the bar. Food was good and lovely little garden to sit out the back and escape the heat!
Rooms were basic but did the job for our one night stay.
Saw some photos online before going that worried us but room and bathroom and all public spaces very clean so don’t be put off! "

I went to Anstruther so I could go on the ferry to the Isle of May, which was absolutely beautiful. The town is quaint and picturesque as well.

Very quiet fishing town with great seafood restaurants. There is some shopping on the Main Street, but except for one pub, everything seems to close by 9 PM. We use this hotel as a base to tour Saint Andrew.

Not a lot to do there but we walk and there was plenty of that. We did a beautiful cliff side walk near the ocean. Apparently there is golfing nearby but that was of no interest to us.

I booked two nights here and I was asked by my company to stay an extra day so when I went to book an extra night in the apex I was shocked to learn it would cost me £160 per night without breakfast.
The first two days I booked was £127 per night + £14 parking fee.
So when I tried to book an extra night Expedia had bumped the price up to £160 per night .
I checked and there were plenty of rooms available so there was no excuse .

"A wonderful stay with all we needed; a very comfortable bed, great shower, high quality bedding and towels. Loved the reading material that gave great insight to the area, very informative. Plenty of outside areas to sit and enjoy the sun or cozy up inside to stay out of the rain. Great biscuits ! Warm and welcoming we felt right at home."
