"We stayed in the house next door rather than the hotel itself. The room was large and had good en-suite facilities. Although a couple in a double room, we couldn't get two keys to the room and had to use the key-safe on the side of the house. So whoever arrives first has to extract the keys, open the main door to the house, open the bedroom door, return to the key-safe and re-deposit the keys, hoping that another guest hasn't closed the door to the house or gone wandering into the bedroom in the meantime. When the second guest arrives, the same procedure has to be gone through or you have to bang on the window in the hope that your wife has arrived and isn't sleeping heavily. Here's an idea - have another set of keys cut to avoid all this.
Breakfast was good. What wasn't so good was the easy-listening music that was piped through to you while having breakfast. Perhaps the owners think they are running a supermarket."
