"The property is up on top of a mountain. Eating breakfast or dinner and looking out onto nature was great. The outdoor/indoor pool is very small. The hot tubs are located at each tower so not too crowded but they are small. The sauna was not hot enough the first day so we turned it on 30 min prior to using it.The property is very dated and really needs a refresh. The main reason we booked was because of the availability of a tennis court. When we checked in, they said the indoor was out of commission and that the outdoor was not usable. Not sure why since it looked to be in nice shape."

"I didn’t realize I had stayed here before, but you can definitely tell the rooms have been upgraded—they felt fresh and comfortable. The Ridge Sierra also shares amenities with another nearby resort just a few minutes away, and there’s a convenient shuttle that can pick you up anytime. The indoor/outdoor pool was a lifesaver—it kept my kids entertained the whole time. They also offer activities for both kids and adults, which was a nice bonus. Plus, it’s only about 9 minutes from the gondola, making it a great location overall."

"This was a perfect get away for my family of 4. The inside is newly remodeled and is beautiful and surprisingly spacious for the 4 of us to fit comfortably! The porch views are breathtaking and the location was perfect. We didn’t stay during ski season, but the Heavenly lift is just down the street. We did lots of hiking and drove 10 min to Stateline for fun activities with the kids and numerous beaches at Lake Tahoe. Definitely will go back!"
