"The room was quite large and clean. We stayed here when we went to the harry potter forbidden forest exhibition. The front staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was good also."

"Hotel hasn't been updated in 3 decades. They have enormous Amana heating/cooling units in each room that turn on every few hours blasting the room in noise. They charge you $3.00 for a bottled water. After $35.00 in taxes and fees they hit me with another $20.00 when we checked out only $10.00 of which was refunded. And awful old carpets (that can't be properly cleaned) on the floors. Ugh."

"We loved our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities were wonderful, but mostly, this is a gorgeous property! For such an historic property, it is so comfortable and beautiful! We wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Good location to Tarrytown and NY Thruway"

"To be honest, there are a few hotels of choice that I stay at depending upon where I stop. But when I do stay at the Holiday in Express, it is always clean, check-in and check out is quick. There are good choices for breakfast, but somehow, I always manage to miss bacon day. 😆 parking is free."

"Clean room, cute vibes, great restaurants and location to Sleepy Hallow halloween fun!"

"Delicious breakfast, clean room, nice gym!"

"We were in line waiting for check in and a woman took about 30 minutes with the only gentleman at the desk. There was a line out the door. We got our first room and it smelled horribly like mildew and dampness. Went back to the check in area and we were given a new room. It was definitely not an ideal situation since we had plans and had to rush."

"NO ICE. When I asked why they have no ice the front desk lady said they don’t have ice at this hotel. I again asked why and got a smart mouth answer. I’m trying to figure out why there are no ice machines she said they’re aren’t any. Dirty property. Unsafe parking area. Worn out carpet, bathroom fixtures, Pass on this crappy hotel!!!"
