"A great stay at the Fairhaven. It has a great location to all attractions and very helpful that they have a reduced rate at the multi story car park just a short drive away. Room was nice, with good storage and a fabulous shower, although no where to hang a towel whilst showering. We were able to pay for a continental breakfast on the day without booking which was handy. Two points to consider though; the website needs updating as the prices for breakfast are in correct and so is the process...

"It is a marvelous boutique hotel, well located and excellent service. The hotel has a theme that inspires every corner. The owners are very welcoming and serve a delicious breakfast to all guests every morning. The rooms have air conditioning and were very clean. Happy to stay there."

"We chose the hottest days of the year to stay so the room was boiling, fortunately we took a fan with us but the owner also gave us another too. The room was perfectly adequate for our needs good shower but the toilet flush was slow, plenty of tea/coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Easy breakfast idea in dining room lots of choice (but no cooked) we knew b4 so never worried us. I thought it was good value for the money more than happy. Big bonus there was parking and 10 min walk...

"I thought the hotel was ridiculously overpriced for what it was. The property is run down. There was peeling paint in our room and rust in the loo and on the radiator. The other side of the hotel had a cool breeze but our room was small and stifling in the heat. The bathroom was tiny with an almost miniature hand basin. The pillows were hard. There were no amenities such as toiletries, not even a box of tissues. The staff were pleasant enough, but the hotel is priced like a luxury country house...

"The room was excellent very clean and modern Bed was very comfortable The view from the room was great as you could see the sea Fridge in the room a bonus Breakfast very good the food well cooked You could have a takeaway that you can eat in the dining room, the host Mandy was so friendly and helpful A small bar in the dining room great to have a drink in the evenings Highly recommend"

"Room was lovely . However there was lumps of hair on the carpet where it had not been hoovered . no toilet brush in the room . Black bits on the bed . milk splashes on the wall socket and on the little drew the tea was in . VERY hot in the room and hotel . Lovely coffee from the coffee shop . Bath room lovely and clean nice soap and shower gel . Plenty of towels . Lovely helpful staff . Breakfast was ok . Lift dirty . no beach view we had a brick wall for a view . Hotel setting was beautiful...

"The guest house was well-located and very clean. We had Room 5 which was on the second floor with a sea view - the only downside was that it was quite noisy until late at night with traffic/music. We'd probably opt for a rear-facing room next time, which over-looked the harbour. The room had everything we needed, although a fan would have been useful as it was very hot when we stayed. Breakfast was good quality and tasty, but the only option seemed to be a cooked breakfast - no cereals, fruit...

"We had a great stay. It offered excellent value for money, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We especially appreciated being allowed to check in early, which made our arrival much more convenient. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short visit. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located and affordable place to stay."

"Hier wird Gastfreundschaft groß geschrieben, vom Check-In bis zum Check-Out! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hat Charme, die Zimmer bieten jegliche Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich wünschen kann und das Frühstück ist exzellent. Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt und wir kommen gern wieder. Ein großer Dank dem wunderbaren Gastgeber-Paar und dem gesamten Team!"
