"This was a hugely disappointing stay. We had spent two nights on the other side of the river on our way down through France and had hoped for better things. Our experience was that we were 'end of season', that staff had lost interest in their guests. We had a very matter of fact welcome and from then on may as well not have been in the hotel. " I booked a twin room for myself and my son and we had a lovely meal the evening we arrived. We only had coffee in the morning before departing. My only complaint would be that the beds are suitable for children but not so much for adults. Wider quilts that cover you and hang over the bed further would have made it a more comfortable nights sleep, especially for my son who is tall and of larger build, plus extra pillows in the wardrobe for those who require them would have been appreciated. This was our only disappointment. Otherwise we were very pleased with the food and service. "
