"We spent two weeks with our 3 month old baby. The facilities were excellent for both parents and baby. We particularly enjoyed our breakfasts to the sound of birds and smell of pine trees, in the late afternoons a short 50 metres trip to the sandy beach to enjoy a swim and watch the boats in the bay. Michèle and George were great hosts, helping with our washing and even lending us a pushchair more suited to the beach, than our own runaround. "Plenty of room for all of us--grandparents, kids, and grandkids. A few minor things needed repair--the toilet flush handle on the downstairs bathroom was loose, and it was hard to light the gas stovetop--but we liked the house, the pool, and the location,"

It is peaceful, except unfortunately the neighbour chose to build a new drive, which took a week and a half to finish with diggers and lorries working all day. But, we were out everyday so it didn’t really matter too much. Everything in the Gite was spotless, we had everything we wanted. Not far from the beach.Veillon Plage is beautiful and has 3 bars If you are fit and heathy it is walkable or a cyclist I think would do it in half an hour....

"Tucked away in a small village the gite is quiet and private. The owners are helpful and on hand but never intrusive. Their lovely dog liked to pay the odd visit too. The gite was spotlessly clean and everything was provided, we didnt need to purchase anything extra. It is quite rural but le Mans and plenty of other towns and villages are easy to get to via car with quiet local roads.
