K+K Hotel Fenix

10/10 Excellent
"This was a great place to stay for 3 days in Prague. The room was spacious, the breakfasts were wonderful and the staff members were very nice and helpful. And we appreciated, for sure, the daily two bottles each of Czech beer and soda water in the refrigerator--and as a bonus, one bottle of Bohemian Sekt the first night of our stay. The main downside of the hotel is the somewhat difficult trek, with luggage, from the train station to the hotel. But that isn't the hotel's fault--it has to do with the sidewalks in Prague. Since the hotel was only about 1/4 mile from the train station, it was manageable. We will definitely be staying here again on our next planned trip to the area."

Art Deco Imperial Hotel

8/10 Good
"This property is beautiful and unique, and clearly every tour group knows this. So, if you are looking for a quieter and more intimate experience, this is probably not the place. Lobby was jam packed with tour groups and huge suitcases, breakfast buffet was lovely, though overcrowded and loud. Doesn't help that tourist groups who aren’t staying there can be seen crowding the dining room to get pictures of the exquisite art deco tile and decor. Restaurant staff is on tail end of tourist season and seemed tired and abrupt. Can’t say I blame them! Front desk staff was awesome and helpful in every way. Andrew went above and beyond with getting us an extra night when our plans changed. He spent time explaining tram and gave us some great suggestions."
