"The property is quite close to Queenstown CBD about 10 minutes. Had a nice view. The room we selected was smaller than we thought and shower did not provide any soap or body wash. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar services since there are many other and better options in town."

The hotel offered pastries and juices in the mornings and local wine, cheese and crackers in the evening which was a lovely touch. "Wow! An amazing experience at a beautiful property, with outstanding service. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our travels in NZ, and this was truly the highlight of our trip. The setting is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the room is beautiful. But the staff are what make the place really special. "The view is spectacular, no doubt. The oldish world charm of the high roof rafters and the fireplace is very homey and comforting. The beds are comfortable and the furnishings and arrangements invite relaxing. But.... (and I know the big but is expected here)The whole house has BIG needs of deferred maintanence and unkept outer surroundings. The place is kinda falling apart and needs repairs and cleaning in practically every area. For how much I paid for the place I'd expect MUCH better."
